About

Field Plug is a veteran-owned company who’s business revolves around improving the conditions and morale of war fighters during training and combat.

Field Plug was founded by Brad, an Idaho National Guard veteran. Brad enlisted at the age of 18 and while serving as a combat engineer (12B) he attended Boise State University and obtained a degree in electrical engineering. Spending most of his time in the field living out of a Bradley fighting vehicle he experienced first hand the struggles of trying to charge mobile devices. Being fairly resourceful and coming from an engineering background, Brad prototyped his first version of what would become Field Plug. It was a simple DC-DC converter wired to an ugly 3D printed adapter. It didn’t take long for others to notice and start making requests for one. After serving for 6 years Brad ETS’d out and started the process of commercializing Field Plug.
